How an approved organizer stands up their own community on KFR — from a request to a live board. A group has its own name and board; players keep one national identity and rating wherever they play, and events are what connect the regions.
Path A · self-start
A player asks, you approve
The usual route: a player requests to host, you grant it, and they start their own group. Steps 1–6 below.
Path B · you provision
Owner sets it up for them
Skip the wait: as owner, use + Group with the player's id in the Owner id field to create their group and make them its organizer in one step.
1 The player asks
A player who wants to run play in their area taps Host events near me on their profile. It flags them for you to review — nothing changes for them yet.
Actor · the player2 You review
In the admin's Players tab, flip their Organizer switch on. That grants the role — but no group yet. Approving is your gate: it keeps the network from being spammable.
Actor · owner (you)3 They open the admin
Now signed in as an organizer, they're met with a card the moment the admin loads — no hunting for a button. One tap opens the form.

Start your group to begin hosting events in your area. It gets its own name and board inside the KFR network.
Start your group →4 Name it
A name is all that's required. Leave State blank and KFR seeds it from the organizer's home ZIP — but the group's region is ultimately driven by where its events are actually played.

5 It exists
The badge now names the group they run, marked emerging until it has real activity. Colorado is now a node on the network — created by the act of organizing, not pre-configured.
Actor · the new organizer6 Host & grow
Every event the organizer creates is stamped to their group automatically. Local players register and start accumulating stats — and because ratings are national, they show up on the state board as visitors the instant they cross the line.
Actor · the organizer & playersThe step-3 card appears automatically for any approved organizer who hasn't started a group yet — the frictionless entry point. The + Group button stays in the admin header for the owner and for starting a first group. One national identity per player; groups are just the communities they play in.
